The cut circle is the paper size your machine's cutter takes. It is bigger than the face because the edge wraps around the back. Check your machine's spec. For 2.5" machines it is usually 2-7/8" (2.875").

In the print dialog, set Scale to 100% (not "Fit to page"), Margins to None, and turn on Background graphics. Measure one printed cut line with a ruler before you print a full batch.
